So I actually made it to midnight this year. Of course I was playing Scrabble with Jboy and almost missed the countdown altogether. Not exactly a rockstar night but I whopped his ass so I guess that's a good way to start the year. Macaroni stayed up later than either of us...playing with a sword in his bedroom.
I haven't made a resolution in years but I was inspired by my boyfriend Ewan. He's going to try to quit smoking, again. So our resolutions this year are:
Macaroni: "To make Jboy not be mean." His brother has been super crabby all day, otherwise I'm sure this would have been "sucker mom into paying for cable and a plasma TV."
Jboy: "To get a frikken laptop already!" Again, he's super crabby.
Sunshine: To be better about staying in touch, writing letters/making phone calls. To have more fun. To eat less junk and better chocolate. To go skydiving in Vegas next December. To get a new tattoo. To take a class, maybe Japanese, maybe an art class. To seriously think about starting my own business. And most importantly, to sleep more. Goodnight!
