I spent the afternoon with Rubeydoobey and then hung out with the girls. We had SO much food, it was a little ridiculous.
Not much going on today. It's snowing and I've got plenty of cleaning to do, so we'll probably just hang out at home.
Tomorrow a couple of my friends are taking my goddaughter Mandy out for dessert. We're finally going to give her her Christmas present. It really shouldn't be so hard to get four people together. If only I had the social calendar of a sixteen year old.
After dessert my friend Mary and I are going to this in honor of the 34th anniversary. Should be a good time, staying out late on a school night.
Netflix review: Mansfield Park
Based on Jane Austen's book, five stars. Just a few minutes in and you totally get why Brangelin@ married Jonny Lee Miller. I've loved him since Trainspotting but he's just adorable in this one. Always a sucker for a period piece, Mansfield Park is sharp and smart and very, very pretty.
I've also recently watched Danny Deckchair (five stars), Mallrats: 10th Anniversary Extended Edition (five stars...I LOVE Kevin Smith & Jason Lee), Ocean's 11 and 12 (four & three stars), Sideways (4 stars? I remember liking it but not as much as I thought I might. Hype and all.) and a bunch of travel shows about Scotland. And one of my all time favorite movies Muriel's Wedding. Thanks Shayne!
