I love that tree

Jboy is in the business magnet at his school and their business partner, GE, had a graduation ceremony for the kids on Thursday night. It was a really nice program and thankfully we didn't get caught in the storm on the ride out to Eden Prairie. All of the kids got a backpack full of stuff; pens, notebooks, an organizer, flashlight and a pedometer, along with a nice certificate. Sadly no scholarship money but since the company laid off Jboy's mentor I guess that's to be expected.

Crappy photo, trying very hard not to embarrass him

Yesterday Macaroni and I went to the Science Museum (with free tickets Jboy got from GE). We had a lot of fun seeing this, diagnosing diseases and playing mini golf. We were there for over four hours. Afterwards we went to dinner with my parents.

Today I laid around watching the final episodes of M0narch of the Glen and working on graduation announcements for Jboy. Lots more of that to do.

So many of my favorite photos from my trip to Scotland were of the graveyards that I decided to bring my camera along on Memorial Day this year. Although the cemeteries in Scotland were so old and amazing, it's different knowing you're related to people instead of just wondering if you are.

It's almost midnight so I better get to bed. Can't believe how fast the weekends fly by...I need to win the lottery!
