Joss won an Emmy!

Again, too lazy to write a real post. And my camera is being funky (or maybe it's my computer) so very few photos to post. (In fact all of the photos in this post have been stolen from MoTancheron and/or Whedonesque.)

Shayne & KK are in town and I'm loving spending time with them. We hung out on B&D's back deck all day yesterday and talked about the old days. The "Jerry Springer" boys came over and the kids all had a blast playing together.
Today we took KK and my niece Ruby to see "Bert and Ernie, Goodnight!" at the Children's Theater. It was fun to watch them play together this time, no shy warming up to each other. Ruby proudly introduced KK to my parents the minute we walked into their house. Cuties.

Our 20 year high school reunion is this weekend, should be fun. Right?

And I'm going to New York - very early - the next morning for a Dr. Horrible screening/fundraiser for 826NYC. Even more exciting because Dr. Horrible won an Emmy last night (!) for Outstanding Special Class - Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Programs. They beat out the Daily Show, 30 Rock, the Superbowl Halftime Show and (one of my favorites) Battlestar Galatica. So. F'ing. Awesome! Especially since this was an independent project that Joss paid for out of his own pocket and released directly to fans on the internet.

It's really nice to see Joss holding an Emmy! I can't wait to hear the speech!
