Whew! Just reread that post...think I needed to vent?
Anyway...I'm in the market for a laptop. Anyone have any advice? What to buy, or sometimes more importantly, what not to buy? Definitely a PC kid so although I'd love to hear about your cool iMac or MacBook or whatever, I won't be getting one.

Don't know much about computers, but we like our Dell. Have had it for a long time (over five years?) with no problems. Unless you count the dumbass who poured cranberry juice into it. The hard drive is starting to click, and I don't know what that means. But I think five years + is pretty good for no problems...?? We spent a lot of time on the phone with Dell when we ordered it - direct from them.
